June 14, 2023 - NineFourOne, a renowned label in the Florida breaks industry, proudly presents "Gingersnap," a meticulously crafted tribute to the golden era of breaks. This release marks a significant milestone as the company commemorates its 25th Anniversary with a perfectly-timed offering.

The revival track, "Gingersnap," produced by the talented Sharaz from Florida, captures the essence of the heyday of breaks and dance music. Infused with chopped up diva vocals, it flawlessly blends the elements that made this genre so prominent. Sharaz describes the song as a fusion of Newton's 1995 hit "Screamer" and Livin' Joy's 1994 classic "Dreamer," two tracks that greatly inspired his creative process.

Sharaz went to great lengths to create an authentic experience for listeners. Extensive research led him to acquire the very instruments used in crafting those iconic old tracks. Instead of relying on software, he insisted on using the genuine instruments, and the final product proves that his dedication was worthwhile. "The drums are obviously more modern and harder-hitting in nature, but that's about it," he says. "Everything else is coming out of the actual instruments used back then."

The result of this meticulous effort is "Gingersnap," a true "revival" breaks track infused with modern production techniques. Its positive and uplifting vibe, combined with captivating rave pianos and an addictive vocal melody, transports listeners back to the nostalgic era of breaks, while maintaining a fresh and contemporary sound.

Established in 1997, NineFourOne made its debut in the music scene with the release of its first 12" single titled "This Is How It Should Be Done" (4-2OH! #001) on June 14, 1998. Since then, the company has been at the forefront of delivering exceptional music experiences.
